He originally designed it for himself, after years of research of many forms of the esoteric and incorporated their truths into his artwork of this deck. We are very fortunate that he decided to publish it!  Included in the Ecletic Tarot, so appropriately named, are tarot styles such as, Rider-Waite, Marseilles,Visconti-Sforza, and Papus, among others, as well as the I Ching, astrology, and numerology. The card titles are in German first, English and French. There is also the Hebrew letter and astrological symbol which correspond to each card. The artwork throughout the deck is colorful and detailed with deep meaning put into ever depiction. Josef's renderings are not only symbolic, but contain a true artistic quality coming from his soulful research. The Minor Arcana have the traditional suits of Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles.
